We had an overwhelming response to our Holi 2022 Art Contest. We received 107 entries and it was a very difficult task of picking the winners.

In our view, everyone who tried their best and made an entry is a winner. It was impossible to select just five winners. So we created a second place winner for each category!

Every student who made a submission will get a certificate. Please collect when you visit the van next time

The judge for the contest was an art teacher Ms. Nisha Doshi. She teaches art to kids across the entire age group. Here's a message from her:

Hello, I am Nisha Doshi, an art teacher. The entries made by the kids were quite inspiring. It was hard to pick the winners. I picked them based on creativity and concept. The next criteria was colour combinations, merging and outline. Background is also an important factor. Everyone who made an effort is a winner. I wish you all the best.

We have several entries that were shortlisted but unfortunately we had to pick the top two for each age group. We will be showcasing the winning and the shortlisted entries in the van.

Here are the winners:

Krishna Toshniwal (14) (1st place) (using a paper thread art technique)

Unknown. (2nd place) (using thousands of toothpick impressions)

Trisha Sarin (10) (1st place) (with delightful colours and confident brush strokes)

Ranvijay Nath (9) (2nd place) (using Mandala art)

Dhaja Savla (8) (1st place) (using paper crepe technique)

Parth Sukhathankar (7) (2nd place) (with with amazing colour transitions)

Dviti Fifadra (5) (2nd place) (using bright colours and different styles)
